Goorbo

Goorbo is a modular construction toy that lets children build their own house inside the house. Unlike adults, kids rarely have a space that’s truly theirs. Goorbo gives them a playful way to take ownership, create a world of their own, and set the rules.

The play system includes soft, standardized pieces that connect easily using a simple male/female joint system. An assisting tool helps with assembly, and add-ons like storage compartments and hooks attach to the inner joints, allowing kids to organize their space however they like.

The inspiration for the building design came from a place of drawing, primal and abstract, speaking of a house from the child's imaginative point of view and from there a representation in real life.
